This image was created from a scanned photograph of the model which was subsequently halftoned. The original image was cloned on top of that, using predefined brushstrokes and random patterns. Finally the halftoned image was selectively cloned back in again to enhance the image of the face. A second image was created in a similar way which was then combined to create the final quartered picture.
